Deal Alert: Spotify's Giving Away Free Chromecasts

For well over a year, Spotify's most requested feature was to add Chromecast support. While they left the request unanswered, it seemed that Spotify just didn't want anything to do with the $35 streaming stick.

But then, seemingly out of nowhere, Google and Spotify announced a deal that finally brought the top music streaming service to the top streaming platform, and a new partnership was formed.

Today, this partnership is taking the next step, as Spotify has announced a deal that will bring the two companies even closer together—and I'll go over all of the details below.

Get a Free Chromecast with Spotify Premium

The deal is simple—just pay for 3 months of Spotify Premium in advance, for a total of $29.97, and you'll get a new Chromecast absolutely free. From there, you can opt to continue paying the normal rate of $9.99 per month, or you can cancel Spotify Premium at any time. And if you do cancel after 3 months, consider that you just got yourself a Chromecast for a small discount with 3 months of streaming music for free. Not too shabby!

If you'd like to take advantage of the offer, simply head to the following link, then click the "Go Premium" button and complete the sign-up process. From there, Spotify will email you a voucher within 7 days that can be used to purchase a Chromecast on the Google Play Store. But you should act quickly, because the deal is only valid through February 28th, 2016.

It's definitely a great deal, considering that you're getting roughly $65 in goods and services for under 30 bucks. Have you already snapped up your free Chromecast? If so, let us know in the comment section below, or drop us a line on Facebook, Google+, or Twitter.
